You can always count on Zendaya to dress for the occasion. In 2021, she attended the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home in a slinky gown designed to look like spiderwebs. When she was promoting Dune earlier this year, all of her red carpet looks had a similar, futuristic fashion vibe. Now that she is officially in her Challengers era, Zendaya has been fully embracing the tennis theme.
For the film’s Australian premiere on March 26, she wore a green gown made to resemble the tennis court itself (complete with player), and for the day’s photo call, she sported a high-fashion twist on classic tennis whites (see what I did there?), which you can see on Page Six.

The look, according to Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach, is custom Lacoste, designed by the brand’s creative director Pelagia Kolotouros. It includes a sleeveless cropped athletic top and matching white hot-pants, worn under a dramatic, sheer mesh maxi skirt with a major thigh slit. Instead of sneakers, Zendaya rocked pointed toe white stilettos, and finished the ensemble with minimalist silver jewels.
Not all of Z’s Challengers looks have taken the theme quite so literally, however. She’s also been sporting some relaxed, preppy ‘fits that nonetheless suit the high-tone vibe associated with the sport. This includes her oversized Oxford and boxer shorts look worn a few days previously, and her dramatic cutouts sweater seen in promo shots. She’s maybe not a literal tennis pro, but she definitely knows how to dress like one.
